Qualtrics is a web-based tool for developing and distributing dynamic surveys.
As the Qualtrics brand administrator for the University of Missouri (MU) and University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), the Assessment Resource Center is here to help you set up and manage your Qualtrics account. Qualtrics is approved for up to DCL3 Data. No data classified as DCL 4 (Highly Restricted) should be included in any survey. View the university’s Qualtrics Usage Guidelines.

Free Accounts
All members of the MU community can have a free account that is subject to some restrictions like limited active surveys and response count.
MU users can automatically create a free account by signing in using their Pawprint. Read: How to Create a Qualtrics Account
MU Qualtrics PortalQualtrics Licenses
For more features beyond the limited account, MU divisions and departments can purchase Qualtrics licenses at a reduced rate by emailing arc@missouri.edu.
Qualtrics license fees for FY24, FY25, and FY26 are:
- Division – $8,800/year
- Department – $5,300/year
- Individual – $550/year
