With over 20 years of experience in program development and evaluation, Steven Henness has served in PI, project management and evaluation roles on federal, state, local agency, and private foundation grant awards. His applied research and evaluation experience spans multidisciplinary partnerships in Extension, non-formal and community-based education, national service, positive youth development and community development programs. As an applied social scientist and evaluator, his experience includes survey development, interviews, focus groups, ripple effects mapping, case studies, and mixed methods approaches ranging in scope from local communities to multi-state projects.  Steve received his MS in rural sociology from the University of Missouri. He completed a graduate research practicum with the Missouri Department of Economic Development and designed and conducted a yearlong research fellowship with the Corporation for National and Community Service. He has a graduate certificate in Society & Sustainability and is a PhD student at Mizzou.
