Assessment Resource Center

Over 135 colleges and universities nationwide use the College Basic Academic Subjects Examination (College BASE). Developed in the late 1980s at ARC, College BASE is a criterion-referenced achievement examination that serves two purposes: to qualify individuals for entry into teacher education programs and to test general academic knowledge and skills in campus-wide assessment programs. College BASE content is organized into four subject areas: English, mathematics, science, and social studies.

Information is organized for students and institutions in Missouri and students and institutions outside of Missouri. Order forms and the College BASE content information are available for you to download and print.
