Chia-Lin Tsai is a Research Data Analyst on the Research & Evaluation team at the ARC. Her areas of interest include research method and statistics. Her recent research focuses on scale development and validation.
Dr. Tsai has expertise in survey research and data analysis, with specific skills in multilevel data analysis, latent variable modeling, and longitudinal data analysis. .
Currently she is leading the Research & Data team on the Network for Educator Effectiveness (NEE), a rigorous educator evaluation system serving over 265 Missouri districts. NEE promotes data-driven and meaningful feedback within school buildings through evaluator training, on-site professional development, and a data tool collecting multiple sources of data for a more comprehensive vision of educator effectiveness. Current research interests for the project encompass the reliability of principal evaluators, developing powerful student surveys, and program implementation.
