Missouri Assessment Plan–Alternate (MAP-A)
As contractor to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education,
ARC administers the alternate assessment of the Missouri Assessment Program, the
MAP-A. ARC provides services including assessment planning; production
of informational, training, and assessment materials; delivery of administration
training; hand-scoring of assessments; and reporting of achievement levels.

Missouri Kindergarten Inventory of Developmental Skills (KIDS)
The Missouri Kindergarten Inventory of Developmental Skills (KIDS)
provides relevant information about each child’s development, including number
concepts, language concepts, auditory skills, visual skills, paper-and-pencil
skills, and gross motor skills. The questionnaire is designed for children aged
four to six, plus a parent/guardian questionnaire.
Missouri Guidance Planning Surveys (MOGPS)
The Missouri Guidance Planning Surveys (MOGPS) were developed in
collaboration with DESE to meet requirements of the Missouri School Improvement
Program (MSIP) using the Missouri Comprehensive Guidance Content and Standards
and Grade Level Expectations (GLEs). Surveys are available by grade spans.
Survey content categories include: Understanding Self as an Individual and as a
Member of Diverse Local and Global Communities, Applying Skills Needed for
Educational Achievement, Applying Career Exploration and Planning Skills in the
Achievement of Life Career Goals, and others.
