College Basic Academic Subjects Examination (College BASE)

Over 110 colleges and universities nationwide use the College Basic Academic
Subjects Examination (College BASE). Developed in the late 1980s at ARC, College BASE is a criterion-referenced achievement examination that serves two purposes:
to qualify individuals for entry into educator preparation programs and to test
general academic knowledge and skills in campus-wide assessment programs.
College BASE content is organized into four subject areas: English, mathematics,
science, and social studies.
Information is organized for students in Missouri,
educator preparation institutions in Missouri,
students outside of Missouri, and
institutions outside of Missouri.
